MDA Annual Awards
Nominations for 2023-2024 MDA Annual Awards are open though March 1, 2024.
Awards will be presented at our 2024 Mississippi Dental Meeting in Sandestin, FL.
Each year, the MDA accepts nominations for the following awards:
Dental Champion - Practicing more than 10 years
New Dentist of the Year - Practicing less than 10 years
These awards may be presented to any MDA member dentist who has distinguished themselves by giving both time and talents for the betterment of dentistry, their association and their community.
Consideration will be based on involvement in any of the following areas:
- Clinical excellence
- Civic involvement
- Public/Community service
- Proactive involvement in promoting good oral health to the public
- Provided humanitarian dental treatment to underserved
- Unselfish devotion to organized dentistry
How to nominate an individual:
Nominations for these awards require submission by March 1, 2024 for review and consideration by the Council on Membership and Member Services. Nominations are to be electronically submitted via the link below.
Requirement:
Nominations may be submitted by MDA members, employees of member dentists, or members of dental related professions. Examples: dental laboratory employees, dental program coordinators or UMMC dental school employees.
